At BIRS, we believe Biology is more than a subject—it’s a way of understanding life itself. Through our online Biology programme, students explore the complexity and beauty of living systems, gaining insight into everything from microscopic cells to global ecosystems. Taught by subject specialists, our approach offers a deep and engaging learning experience for students at both KS4 and KS5.
We offer two science pathways at KS4—Combined Science and Triple Science—both available at Foundation and Higher tiers. This structure allows us to meet the needs of learners across a wide range of abilities. Teaching is carefully differentiated to ensure that all students are fully supported throughout their GCSE studies.
